Although I do a lot of portrait photography, I do enjoy street photos. Travel is a big part of my family and when I go places I want to remember what they look like. In order to take these, I rely on perspective and color. In my experience, street photos look more interesting with more color.  It's important to use a long range lens when taking street photography so as to not be limited with distance. I use a Tamron 55-350 mm. Please enjoy!
